HAND MADE ART WORK | PROMOTIONAL FILM POSTER

BRIEF: Create a Film Poster design using only the handmade medium for the Art work.

CONCEPT: For the independent 2019 film 'The Assistant', the goal was to represent the themes of the film through the design. I made a scaled 3D Model of a hand sculpture holding the protagonist character at her desk. This composition represents the themes of the film which explore gas-lighting, repression, predatory behaviour and power play. The muted colour palette of the film was used in the model as these perfectly reflected the character’s feel of dread in the film.
