BRIEF: Creative Industries Federation needed a new campaign to project light on the lack of socio-economic diversity jobs in the creative industry. The campaign needed to appeal to young people and encourage them to connect with the possibility of a creative job.
CONCEPT: To inform and connect with those viewing the campaign, illustrations were created which act as an analogy of the prospect of getting a creative job without certain advantages which include a degree, experience, or contacts. These game illustrations represent the unfair and rigged playing field that is set out before young people. In order to keep the message genuine, the wording was kept in a simple and bold, plain-speaking layout. The games and chosen colour palette were used to entice and represent the playful nature of fresh creative minds.
